| 1 | Then I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder: "Come!" |
| 2 | And I saw, and behold! A white horse, and he sitting upon it having a bow, and a crown has been given to him and he went out conquering and that he may conquer. |
| 3 | And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying "Come!" |
| 4 | And there went out another, a red horse, and to him sitting upon it, it has been given to him to take peace from the earth and that they slay one another, and a great sword has been given to him. |
| 5 | And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying "Come!" And I saw, and behold! A black horse, and he sitting upon it having a scale in his hand. |
| 6 | And I heard like a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying "A quart of wheat for a denarion and three quarts of barley for a denarion, and you should not deal unrighteously with the olive oil and the wine!" |
| 7 | And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard a voice from the fourth living creature saying "Come!" |
| 8 | And I saw, and behold! A green horse, and he sitting upon it, his name is Death, and Hades follows after him, and authority over the fourth part of the earth has been given to them to kill by the sword and with famine and with death and by the beasts of the earth. |
| 9 | And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw beneath the altar the souls of those who had been slain on account of the Word of Yahweh and on account of the testimony which they had. |
| 10 | And they cried out with a great voice, saying "How long, Holy and True Master, do You not judge and exact vengeance for our blood from those dwelling upon the earth?" |
| 11 | And there had been given to each of them a white robe and spoken to them that they should rest for a little while until they should be satisfied, and their fellow-servants and their brethren who are also going to be killed like them. |
| 12 | And I saw when He opened the sixth seal, and there happened a great earthquake and the sun became black as a sackcloth of hair and the whole moon became as blood |
| 13 | and the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree being shaken by a great wind casts its unripened figs, |
| 14 | and the heaven departed as a scroll being rolled and every mountain and island had been moved from their places. |
| 15 | And the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the wealthy men and the powerful men and every slave and free man hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, |
| 16 | and they say to the mountains and to the rocks: "Fall upon us!", and "Hide us from the face of Him sitting upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, |
| 17 | because the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" |
